REQUIREMENTS:
Admissions: The Graduate Diploma of Psychology may be taken by a student holding any undergraduate degree from an approved institution.

This bridging program (accredited by the Australian Psychological Society) qualifies students to enter the accredited psychology Honours or Post-Graduate Diploma courses.

Students must have passed subjects equivalent to:

Introduction to Psychology: Biology and Personality 
or Introduction to Psychology: Learning and Social
and Introduction to Statistics before commencing the program. 
If these subjects or their equivalent were not completed as part of a student’s prior studies, they must be taken as non-degree subjects at Bond or elsewhere before admission to the Graduate Diploma program.
IELTS:  Overall band score of 6.5.  Reading & Writing 6.0
TOEFL:  550 paper-based  213 computer-based.   TWE of 5

 

Course Requirements
To fulfil the requirements of the course, Diploma students would normally complete the following:

PSYC12-200 Statistics and Data Analysis and
PSYC13-305 Research Methods in Psychology

plus four subjects selected from the following:

PSYC12-210  Sensation and Perception
PSYC12-214  Biological Psychology
PSYC12-315  Developmental Psychology
PSYC12-325  Social Psychology
PSYC13-302  Personality, Individual Differences & Motivation
PSYC13-302  Abnormal Psychology and Emotion
PSYC12-201  Psychology and Career Choice
PSYC12-211  Psychology at Work 1
PSYC13-301  Learning and Cognitive Psychology

 

Exemptions or credits for subjects listed above may be possible on the grounds of prior formal studies completed, and variations of the course requirements above may be approved by the Associate Dean (Academic) on the recommendation of the coordinator of Psychology programs. Prospective students are encouraged to discuss their plans with student advisor and staff of the Psychology area before commencing studies.
