ABOUT:
Since it was
founded in 1992, more than 16,000 international students from Latin
America, Europe, the Middle East, and Asia have studied at VEC.
FACILITIES:
VEC is
located in Yaletown, in the heart of downtown Vancouver. The campus has
54 classrooms, as
well as a kitchen area with a microwave, refrigerator, television, and
free coffee and tea. The computer labs, with approximately 60 computers, are available
for students use and offer free access to the Internet from 8am to 6pm on
weekdays, and 9am to 4:30pm on Saturdays and Sundays. Our computers have high- speed
Internet connections and all are equipped with mainstream software such as, MS Office and
Windows. Scanners, web-cams and fax machines for staying in touch with home, are
also available.

Test
Preperation:
TOEFL Test Preparation, TOEIC Test Preparation, IELTS Test Preparation,
and Cambridge Test Preparation programs are designed to help you achieve
your goals quickly.
Special English
Language Courses:
Vancouver English Centre has many elective ESL courses, such as: English
Pronunciation, English Writing, English Listening, Business English, and
a Business Internship Program.
Homestays:
At Vancouver English Centre, you will experience immersion in the
English language. You will make Canadian friends, enjoy Vancouver
sightseeing, and be taught by experienced Canadian ESL teachers. We even
arrange homestays with local families, to teach you more about Canadian
language and culture.
