Canada and around the world. A TEFL certificate is a passport into a
career that will help you continually develop new skills and meet people
from exotic places. Teaching opportunities arise frequently as the TEFL
industry grows.
Vancouver English Centre offers a four-week Introduction to TEFL course
and a four-week TEFL Certificate Program. Introduction to TEFL is a
prerequisite of the TEFL Certificate Program.
Our school in Guadalajara, Mexico offers a four-week TEFL Certificate
Program, as well as Teaching Business English and Teaching English to
Children electives.
Introduction To
Teaching English as a Foreign Language ( TEFL )
This course is for people
with little or no teaching experience. Introduction to TEFL focuses on
teaching English to adults in a practical, efficient manner.
This is a four-week course. TEFL classes are from 12:50 to 3:40, Monday
to Friday.
TEFL Prerequisites: TOEFL 590 or Grade B Cambridge Certificate of
Proficiency, or VEC grade average of Level 6B.
Introduction to TEFL is not recommended for anyone who does not have an
undergraduate degree.
