Stanley Academy is
a specialized English language school located in beautiful Vancouver,
British Columbia, Canada.
Stanley Academy is
designed to offer two excellent English Language Immersion Programs for
healthcare professionals and international students from all over the
world. One ESL program is tailored to
healthcare professionals and students who are interested in learning
Medical English and culture of the Western world. The second ESL program
is designed for foreign-trained nurses who want to become
qualified to work as nurses in Canada.
We offer
students small classes (5 to 6 students) and high quality faculty who
are experienced in various medical fields. The teachers use a variety of
teaching techniques and encourage active class participation. Teachers
also provide individual one-on-one assistance when required by students.
Faculty members of Stanley Academy are professionally trained and
university educated with at least one degree in a medical field and / or
teaching English as a second language.
Student intake into
Stanley Academy is every Monday, and one school session is four weeks in
duration. Each session begins on the first Monday of each month except
December. For the month of December the new session begins on the last
Monday of November. Students may begin on the 2nd, 3rd, or 4th Monday of
school session, however, they will be placed in ongoing classes.
Stanley Academy is
registered with the private
post-secondary education commission (PPSEC) of British Columbia as a
private training institution.
