Ushuaia,
the
southernmost city in the world, is located between the Beagle Channel
and the Martial mountains. Its incredible location will allow you to
enjoy the sea, woods, glaciers, and mountains. Ushuaia is not only a
small city in the south of the world, but it is also full of nature and
adventure.
Some of the attractions in the city are the Jail at the End of
the World (Carcel del Fin del Mundo), where there is a museum (Museo del
Presidio) with wax statues of famous criminals who spent their time
there in imprisonment. The Train at the End of the World "Ferrocarril
Austral Fueguino" (El tren del fin del mundo) is also one of the main
attractions of the island.
The natural scenery is breath taking. Summer is the ideal season
to practice adventure sports: fans of trekking, fishing, sailing, and
cycling will be challenged in Tierra el Fuego. Excursions through the
Beagle Channel, Cabo de Hornos, and Antarctica are also available.
