Le Bouveret
is the «César Ritz» centre of
professional excellence in hospitality and management training. This
campus currently delivers the «César Ritz» Swiss Hotel Management
Diploma program to over 440 students (220 on campus and 220 in
internships) from 50 different countries. Our broad-based curriculum
balances academic learning with hands-on training. At «César Ritz», we
firmly believe that a sound grasp of operational management is
imperative if graduates are to succeed in the global, dynamic and
challenging hospitality and tourism industry.
At Le Bouveret, practical skills, management techniques and foreign
languages are taught while other less tangible lessons are learned. The
atmosphere in Le Bouveret encourages students to participate in a truly
international experience. A mix of cultures and languages, an awareness
of quality and superior customer service, an attention to detail and a
strong sense of participating as part of a team are elements which help
to produce our well-rounded graduates. Armed with this knowledge, our
graduates are ideally placed to exploit the opportunities and challenges
of the hospitality and tourism industry.
The Institut Hôtelier «César Ritz» is located on the shores of Lake
Geneva in a magnificent building that dates back to the early 1900’s.
Today, this fully customised and renovated building can accommodate up
to 220 students and comprises classrooms, a library, resource room and
IT lab. Kitchen and service/bar facilities are designed to develop the
practical and professional skills required for hands-on food and
beverage management.
 Le
Bouveret is a small, French speaking, summer lakeside resort only
minutes away from the French border and the town of Evian. With easy
access to major cities in Switzerland including Geneva, Lausanne and
Montreux, it offers a safe but accessible location for students wishing
to secure a quality education in hotel management. Extra curricula
activities can include a whole host of sporting pursuits and cultural
diversions.

The University Center «César
Ritz» is dedicated to the promotion of academic excellence. Our fully
accredited, quality programs have secured industry-wide recognition.
Undergraduate and postgraduate courses in
Brig
are designed to satisfy the academic, professional and personal
needs of candidates seeking management careers in the service industry.
Program content is student-centered and academically rigorous whilst
maintaining a keen sense of practical, operational industry
requirements. Customer service, social responsibility, motivational and
leadership skills are encouraged alongside business acumen and
managerial effectiveness.
 We constantly assess program
content and, where applicable, create new programs and forge new
academic and industry links in order to more accurately reflect the
current needs and demands of the hospitality and tourism industry.
Our faculty are internationally recognized and our small class sizes
facilitate individual attention. With staff and students drawn from all
corners of the world, the learning experience is global, dynamic and
challenging. 270 students from more than 45 different countries
currently study in Brig.
The University Center «César
Ritz», houses classrooms, an auditorium, library, study rooms, computer
lab, training restaurant, kitchen lab and cafeteria. The campus is
equipped with a wireless LAN which allows Internet and network
connections as well as providing gateways to electronic databases for
academic periodicals, magazines and research. Student accommodation is
off-campus in the city of Brig, within convenient walking distance of
the campus.
Brig is a small and lively city with a strong community focus. It offers
good local retail, cultural, historical and social facilities and also
serves as an important departure point for access to Italy and other
European destinations. It is surrounded by magnificent mountains that
offer endless opportunities for outdoor sporting activities on a year
round basis.
