Programme Orientation
Hands-on practical training and hotel operation skills, such as Rooms
Division, Food & Beverage Management and Event Organisation are the
basis of this intensive two and a half year programme. Students will
focus on operational management areas of a hotel, combined with general
education and management courses such as intercultural studies,
marketing, finance and business simulations. Two paid 6-month
internships are required components of the programme.
Learning Outcomes
The programme offered at Institut Hôtelier «César Ritz» is aimed at High
School graduates seeking a career in hotel and restaurant management,
potentially as owners or managers of a small to middle sized hospitality
company. Graduates may also qualify for entry positions at a supervisory
level in larger scale hotel operations.
Admission Criteria
18 years of age or over with successful completion of high school. Applicants with previous academic qualifications and/or work experience in the hospitality industry may be eligible for exemption from all or part of the first year of the program. English language proficiency of
TOEFL 550 or IELTS 6.0 or the equivalent.
Applicants whose mother tongue is not English are given an English test on arrival. Those who do not have the required English level may join the 11-week
«César Ritz» preparatory program in English Language and Hotel Operations.
