Experiential learning is an integral part of
every program offered at Huron University USA in London. An internship
will give you a competitive advantage in the job market. It will equip
you with professional experience, and establish an international network
of people who can help you build your career.
Through the internship, students learn to adapt to new situations,
develop their communication and social skills, and gain insight into the
workings of a professional environment. We pride ourselves in the range
and quality of internships available, and also in our approach. Every
placement is tailored to the specific needs of each student. Through our
contacts with organizations in every sector of the arts, culture and
media; government, politics and international institutions; and finance,
manufacturing and commerce, we are able to place our students in any
sector of their choosing.

International NGOs
London is home to an extraordinary cultural mix and has a long
tradition of charitable endeavour. We actively encourage students to
undertake community service, with or without credit, with these London
based international organisations and produce a pamphlet each semester
on current openings.
International Field Study Projects
Each year, students are encouraged to participate in projects that are
designed to facilitate them being able to 'put something back' into
communities in difficulty, the environment, or the conservation of our
physical and human heritage.

Programs
Flexibility is the key word. All placements are designed around the
specific needs and abilities of each individual student. Similarly,
programs are designed around institutional requirements and
expectations.
This being said, there are a number of models that work particularly
well:
Two day pw semester programmes (Spring, Summer or Fall)
Four day pw semester programmes (Spring, Summer or Fall)
Block programmes (Summer)
Networking programmes
