Welcome Message
From the Provost
Isn’t the Web a wonderful
way to begin a relationship! You can get a sketch of the highlights of
an institution; sense some of the goals and characteristics that shape
its community; and stay as long as you like and collect the contact
details, and then put it on pause while you think about whether you want
to get involved further. Maybe it would be good if all face-to-face
interactions had such dynamics at their beginning…
Of course we would love for you to take the next step, and find out more
about us. Then we could: share with you our concern for your
intellectual development in our small classes; open up the 21st century
to you via our emersion in the global future; or emphasize our
internationalism which comes by mixing with students from over 60
countries. Huron is not like other institutions: we are a small,
boutique university helping you to “go global” by tasting the future
today. London as both our home and the window we use to read the
changing world environment. Come and experience it with us.
I encourage you to take the next step, to think about starting a
relationship with Huron University, and to consider the benefits that
relationship can bring to both parties: we know we would benefit from
having you join our community; and we believe we can facilitate a better
future for you.
Start with cyberspace, but then make it real.
Best wishes,
Dr. Bruce Stanley |
