HOUSING OPTIONS

Visit the City of Berkeley

Your housing choice depends on your interests, preferences, and budget. Living in a dormitory during your stay in Berkeley will allow you to meet students of different ages and backgrounds but may also provide many distractions!

Some IDP students choose to rent a private apartment or a private room in an apartment or home. This will give you independence, but also means you will have to cook your own meals and supply many of your own household items, so your estimated living expenses may be higher.

Whichever option you choose, our International Student Services office is happy to help.
