the TOEFL, (530 on the paper-based), 71 on the iBT, 710 on the TOEIC or

provide a business administration program for individuals who
have no formal educational background in business and will give

Curriculum The Accelerated Certificate Program in Business Administration embodies the best practices and standards of business today. Its goal is to provide competence in the areas of finance, management, marketing and the law. A certificate is awarded upon completion of the following six courses in an accelerated format and the Professional Communication Seminar with a grade of "C" or better in each course.
Essentials of Marketing Beyond the Four Ps Develop an effective marketing program. Learn the basics of how and when to use promotional tools to build the foundation of a dynamic, integrated marketing program. Create ads that grab your market, sales promotions that stimulate interest, and public relations that create a positive image. Explore the impact of strategic planning and research on your marketing program.
Finance for the Non-Financial Business Person Recommended Prerequisites: Some familiarity with accounting and finance or some managerial experience in business. In this time of increasing economic complexity, understanding what goes on in the world of business finance is no longer a luxury but a necessity. This course will enable non-financial managers and entrepreneurs to learn the basics of business finance. Topics include accounting principles, financial analysis, ROI decisions, and cash flow.

Success Strategies for Electronic Business Understand the e-commerce framework and learn what technological infrastructure is needed for e-business. Technology Forecasting and Scenario Planning As markets and technologies change, managers must anticipate trends and prepare for the future. Strategic Planning
Strategic planning is integral to managing. This course is intensive and hands-on and helps you solve three questions fundamental to strategic planning: 1) Where are we today? 2) Where do we wish to arrive, and 3) How do we get there? Explore topics including the four approaches to strategic planning and their advantages and disadvantages, setting short-term and long-term objectives, tools and business models, tactics and action, tie-in to MBO, the most advanced strategic planning techniques, and pitfalls to avoid.
Internship As an optional last course and for an additional fee of $1,150, you have the opportunity to apply academic theory and gain practical experience in a variety of businesses and industries for up to three months. A research project provides additional training. Also included in the internship is the Interviewing Skills and Resume Development Workshop. Prerequisite: Completion of the requirements for the Business Administration Certificate. |
