This comprehensive
concentration provides students with the resources to use tourism
planning as an agent for positive change throughout the world.
Applicants interested in the M.B.A. in Hospitality & Tourism Global
Business Leadership program who do not hold an undergraduate degree or diploma in
the hospitality field, must submit a current résumé and cover letter
demonstrating at least two years of work experience in the hospitality
field.
The program allows
entrance beginning either in the September or December term once all prerequisite courses are
completed successfully. Students may complete this program in two years
if they enroll in two courses each term.
Students may complete the
Hospitality & Tourism Global Business Leadership program in either a
traditional or fast-track, 12-month format. The fast-track, 12-month
delivery is offered on an afternoon schedule and/or evening schedule and
is open to students with business-related academic backgrounds.
Admittance to the fast-track program is in the September term only with
all foundation courses having been completed with a " B" grade
(3.00 GPA) or better cumulative
average, prior to entrance into core and concentration classes. The
fast-track program format ensures graduation in one calendar year. The
program is set up with selected concentration courses. Thus, all
concentration courses may not be available in the fast-track delivery.
