Home Stay for International Students while studying at SDSU

Living on campus or with an American family can be an exciting and enriching part of your SDSU experience. Whatever option you choose, you'll find a true sense of community at your San Diego home. Aside from the obvious benefits of convenience and camaraderie, on-campus or homestay living definitely offer important academic and cultural benefits as well!

Types of Homestays: There are differences in the types of homestays available. Some consist of renting a room in someone's house and possibly fixing your own meals; others involve being a part of the family and eating with the family. It is important to list your own preference for the type of homestay that you want.

American Homestay

- $695 per month

- plus $150 placement fee

- and a $200 refundable deposit.

	This is a good chance to see how Americans live and to practice your English
	Airport (San Diego) pick-up and drop-off included
	Includes two meals per day (breakfast and dinner)
	Sheets and towels are provided
	Laundry facilities available
	You have a private room and caring family environment

	You must live with rules and a lifestyle set by the family
