Foundation Courses 

MBA - Foundation Block 

Three year degree 

Students with Three-Year degrees

 

Academic:

Four-year Bachelor's degree from recognized university, 

or 

Three-year UK Bachelor's recognized for postgraduate study.

 

GMAT

Beginning Fall 2007 term: Your admission is conditional for GMAT score. All MBA students are required to submit a GMAT score. The score requirement will vary depending on your final undergraduate GPA. Oklahoma City University uses the following formula to determine whether you meet the 950 minimum score requirement: GMAT + GPA x 200 >= 950. For example: 450 (GMAT) + 3.0 (GPA) x 200 = 1050

 

English: 

TOEFL 580 (237 computer-based)

 

or

 

have achieved level 110 in the ELS English language program prior to being considered for admission with the exception of applicants who have completed their education in an institution where English was the medium of instruction.

 

International students who have a TOEFL score below 560 (220 computer based) but equal to or above 510 (180 computer based) or who have achieved level 110 in the ELS program must take the English course in the foundation block when they first enroll unless they have graduated from an accredited American institution of higher education.

 

Students who demonstrate a score of 560 (220 computer based) on the TOEFL or a 6.0 overall and 5.5 on each band score on the IELTS or have achieved level 110 in the ELS program prior to being considered for admission will be considered to have sufficient English language proficiency requirements.

 

Prerequisites: 

A person without a Business Administration undergraduate degree may be required to establish competency in preparatory courses before advancing to the MBA program.

 

Students graduating from a non-English speaking university may be required to complete a maximum of 18 hours from the  foundation block regardless of undergraduate major.  Preparatory courses do not count toward graduation.
