The early childhood program are designed to meet the needs of graduate students with diverse levels of expertise n the field. The programs provide a knowledge base for early childhood educators that will empower them to develop quality early childhood programs in different specialty areas. Students will be able to communicate the characteristics of developmentally appropriate curriculum to peers, parents, and administrators. Current issues, theory, and research at the forefront in the different fields of early childhood are incorporated in the different courses of study. |

Elementary Education |

The elementary education program has been designed to develop mastery knowledge base to prepare the educator for leadership roles in the 21st century. The programs have a strong theoretical base of curricula and current research. The emphasis in the program will be on preparing teachers for collaboration and mentoring. Effective teaching strategies will be refined at the critical and analytical level. Teachers will be able to supply current strategies to reflective teaching as well as develop leaderships skills to participate successfully as leaders in the educational community.
