General Admission Policy Please review
the required items for admission that are listed below. We must receive
these required items or documents before we can review your application
for admission to Oklahoma City University (OCU). If you have already
sent all of the required items, please ignore this message. If you have
sent only some of the items, please send the other required items on the
list.
Note:
We will accept copies of
required documents for review for admission. HOWEVER, Originals or
certified copies must be received by OCU before a SEVIS I-20 will be
sent to you. The original documents or certified copies must be received
by OCU before or at the time of your enrollment before you will be
permitted to enroll - no exceptions are granted for this requirement.
Because of new U.S. Department of Justice requirements, it is important
that the spelling of your name matches your passport, your OCU Admission
Letter and the U.S. Department of Justice SEVIS Form I-20. If the
spelling of your name matches, this will avoid needless immigration
delays or problems for you.
If you have additional questions, please e-mail us here at International
Admissions (iso@okcu.edu) and we will do our best to answer your
questions. Please note that some details show in this document may
change at a later date. Please refer to the Oklahoma City web site for
the most recent changes.
The evaluation process requires one to two weeks. Please allow time for
mailing. The normal mailing time is about 10 days. We offer rolling
admissions all throughout the year.
